All Incrediwear products are composed primarily of fabric, so they will definitely get wet just like any other fabric when exposed to water, and the efficacy of Incrediwear products will not be decreased by being worn in the water. However, because our product’s semi-conductive elements are activated by the wearer’s body heat, the infrared waves released by this activation will not occur when you are submerged in water that is colder than your body's surface temperature. Of course, as soon as the fibers are activated by your body heat again, they will continue to give off the infrared waves that increase circulation, decrease inflammation, stimulate the lymphatic system, and alleviate pain. Just like with any swimsuit or piece of clothing, be sure to rinse out the Incrediwear product immediately after use in ocean/pool water, to remove the chemicals and minerals that are absorbed by the fabric, to avoid any possible degradation of the fibers.
