Is this a low waist measurement? My actual waist only measures 27” (at narrowest point, belly-button), however these appear to sit low. Where is the best place to measure?

Hello Kristina! In my experience as a male, the sizing on the Circulation Shorts seems to correspond with the retail waist size that I use when I'm buying jeans (about 34"), which puts me in a Large even though the actual, measured circumference of my waist at the beltline is closer to 38" (XL is too big on me). For this reason, it might be more accurate to go by the waist size you use to buy jeans, rather than the actual, physical measurement of the waist. I can't really speak to standard women's sizing, but given the threshold for the Medium, you'd want to start with that size. We do offer free domestic returns and exchanges within 60 days of the purchase date, though, even if the product has been washed or worn. Aloha, I have lymphedema in my left leg from endometriosis cancer(2020…cancer free now) It’s also heavy. I’m on my legs all day. I have a lot of swelling on the left leg . Occasionally on the right. I was wondering do I need a sleeve or shorts and how does it stay up with out rolling down and bunch up on my knee and stop the blood flow?

The material gets activated by your body heat and continuously releases therapeutic infrared waves, which not only stimulate blood flow, but also lymphatic drainage. I am a ballet dancer. I am having pain in my groin. It keeps getting stuck when I lift my leg into a devellope’ to the side. The pain is on the left side just to the left of my pelvic bone, when leg must lift from hip joint. I need to know if the shorts will help this area while dancing.

Hello Tammy! I would actually recommend either the 2" Bandage Wrap or the Hip Brace instead of the Circulation Shorts. The Shorts will certainly be easier and more convenient to put on and wear while dancing than either of those products. However, both the 2" Bandage Wrap and the Hip Brace will release much stronger therapeutic infrared than the Shorts will. The 2" Bandage Wrap is the more cost effective option, and gives you a lot of versatility and control with how you wrap the semiconductive fabric. The Hip Brace is the priciest option and might not be ideal to wear while dancing, but wearing it extensively before and after your dancing (especially overnight while you sleep) will make a SIGNIFICANT difference in your pain management and performance. My waist is 33". Should I go up or down a size?
