My name is Riley Tejcek and am from Carmel, Indiana where I grew up and began playing sports as soon as I could walk. I played Division I College Softball at George Washington University for four years and joined the Marine Corps after receiving my degree in Political Science. I am now a member of Team USA Bobsled where I am a pilot that is an Olympic Hopeful for 2026. I have won two bronze medals in the North American Cup in my first ever International competition and have since finished the 2022-2023 season with a 14th overall world ranking. I am continuing my path to compete in the Olympics.
Unlike most other countries around the world, Bobsled is not funded by the United States government so there are very little opportunities to get sponsored and receiving funding. I am an active-duty Marine Corps Officer and balance that with being a wife, volunteering at my Church and training to become an Olympian. Bobsled is an expensive sport due to the logistics of transporting a 400lbs sleds across the world and transportation expenses. I am respectfully asking you join Team Tejcek in helping me support my dream of becoming an Olympian by helping me fund my journey this year to get me to the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy
Despite working full time with some small sponsorships, I am unable to manage the fees that are required of me for this sport. Therefore, I am looking for donations, sponsorships, or any opportunities to participate in to help fund my season. I have created a Go Fund Me page and am also open to putting companies on my helmet and sled this season for marketing.
I am active on social media, such as Instagram (riley.tejcek) and have a following of over 48,500 people. Some of my videos have over 1 million views and my reach on photos has extended to 250,000 people! I want to help everyone by being public about companies or people that help support me and give back.
This year I am projected to compete in a variety of races around the world. November through December I will be competing in Park City, Utah, Whistler, Canada and Lake Placid, New York. In January of 2024, I will then be heading to Europe to compete in several different countries I will be competing on a global stage and need your help getting there!
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I would love a meeting in person or via phone. I am extremely passionate about my pursuit to the Olympics and showing that women have a place in sport and the military!
Very Respectfully, VRiley Tejcek
